Smart Cat Reading a Book – Free Cat Coloring Page
Curled up in a comfortable armchair, a clever little cat has found the perfect way to spend time: lost in a good book. This cat coloring page shows a studious tabby surrounded by shelves full of stories, which makes it a charming choice among reading coloring pages for classrooms and libraries.
The cat sits in the center of the page, nestled deep in a plump armchair. It is a tabby, with curved stripes across its forehead, cheeks, body and tail. Its two pointed ears stand up alert, and it wears a pair of large round glasses over its big, bright eyes. Gently raised eyebrows give it a curious, interested look. It has a small nose, long whiskers on both cheeks, and an open, happy smile, as if it has just read something delightful. Around its neck it wears a neat bow tie. The cat holds a thick open book with both front paws, its pages fanned out as it reads. Its back legs stretch out on the seat cushion in front of it, with its round paws resting on the edge. Its long striped tail curls up behind it along the back of the chair, like a question mark.

The armchair is big and cozy, with a tall rounded back, two thick rolled arms, a soft seat cushion, and four short tapered legs standing on the floor.
Behind the chair, a large bookshelf fills the entire wall. Its shelves are packed with books of different heights and widths, most standing upright and a few leaning against their neighbors. On a shelf to the right, a small desk lamp with an adjustable arm bends toward the cat as if to light its pages, and beside it sits a little potted plant with pointed leaves.
