Funny Chicken Coloring Page
A plump little hen has just noticed something astonishing, and she can hardly believe her eyes. This chicken coloring page captures her comical moment of shock beside a cracking egg, a funny, lighthearted scene that fits right in with farm animals coloring pages.
The hen stands on the left and center of the page. Her round, chubby body faces left, but her head is turned sharply to the right so she can stare down at the egg beside her. On top of her head sits a comb with three rounded bumps, like a small crown, and a tiny curl of feathers sticks out at the back. Her eyes are enormous and perfectly round, much too big for her face, with small dark pupils darting toward the egg. One eyebrow is raised in disbelief. Her pointed beak hangs wide open in a gasp, and beneath it dangles a soft, rounded wattle. A ring of scalloped feathers circles her neck like a frilly collar, and a few small feather marks decorate her chest. Behind her, on the left, her tail feathers fan upward in long, rounded points. On her side, a folded wing shows layers of overlapping feathers. Her other wing is flung out to the right, open and raised, as if she had thrown it up in alarm. She stands on two thin legs marked with little ring stripes, and her feet spread into three long toes tipped with small claws.

On the right, resting on the ground, is a large oval egg, almost as tall as the hen’s body. Jagged zigzag cracks run across its top and middle, as though something inside is about to break free. A few tiny pieces of shell have already fallen onto the ground nearby.
The ground is a simple curved line with small tufts of grass sprouting on each side, and a few smooth pebbles are scattered around the hen’s feet.
