Mermaid Brushing the Hair at the Shore
Perched on a sea-worn rock with the ocean stretching behind her, a mermaid runs a brush through her long hair — a quiet grooming moment at the heart of this Mermaid Coloring Page.
She sits in profile, tail curled to one side and torso angled slightly toward the viewer, lips curved into a soft, closed smile. One hand holds a section of hair steady while the other grips a paddle brush mid-stroke, bristles pressed against the strands. A cluster of shells and a small starfish sit tucked above her ear, pearls strung between them. Her hair falls in loose, curling waves past her shoulders and down over her chest, partially covering a scalloped shell top. Below the waist, tightly packed scales cover her tail in overlapping rows, curving down to rest against the rock's cracked, textured surface before flaring into a wide, ribbed fin at the bottom edge. The rock itself is scattered with pitted texture marks, and tufts of thin seaweed grow from cracks near its base. Behind her, calm water ripples in long horizontal bands beneath a sky dotted with six rounded clouds and a distant, low mountain range on each side. Loose shells rest near the shoreline in the lower corners of the page.
