Sitting and Smiling – Free Puppy Coloring Page
Tail wagging and eyes shining, a friendly little puppy sits up straight, as if waiting for a treat or a big hug. This free puppy coloring page features an adorable pup with patched markings and a happy grin, which makes it a sweet addition to your dog coloring pages for kids.
The puppy sits upright in the center of the page, facing forward and looking straight at you. Its head is large and round compared with its small body, which gives it a playful, baby-like look. A single tuft of fur curls up on top of its head like a little flame. Two long, floppy ears hang down on each side of its head, each with a small rounded patch near the bottom. Curved lines across the face mark where darker patches of fur surround both eyes and spread toward the ears, while a lighter stripe runs down the middle of the face from the forehead to the nose. This pattern is common in spaniels and beagles, and it gives kids fun areas to color in two shades.

The puppy’s eyes are big and round, with shiny highlights and thick, curled lashes, and small curved eyebrows sit above them. In the middle of its face is a round nose with a small highlight and two nostrils. Below it, the puppy’s mouth is open in a wide smile with a little tongue peeking out.
Around its neck, the puppy wears a collar fastened with a square buckle. Below the collar, a fluffy ruff of fur covers its chest, drawn with soft, scalloped edges. It sits on its round haunches, with its two front legs straight and close together, ending in big paws marked with little lines for toes. The back paws peek out at each side, and a short tail sticks out to the right.
