Free Christmas Word Scramble for Kids Ages 6–8
Twelve holiday words have been tangled up like a string of Christmas lights, and only a clever puzzler can sort them out. This free Christmas word scramble challenges children to put the jumbled letters back in order and then color a jolly Santa, which makes it one of the most enjoyable Christmas activities for kids.
In the top right corner, the title "Christmas Word Scramble!" is written in an elegant, flowing script, like handwriting on a holiday card. In the top left corner, two Christmas bells hang side by side, tied together with a large ribbon bow and decorated with sprigs of holly, with pointed leaves and round berries. Down the left side of the page runs a column of twelve scrambled words, each written in capital letters. Beside each one is a row of empty square boxes, one box for each letter. The rows range from three boxes for the shortest words to five boxes for the longest, so children can write the unscrambled answer letter by letter.

The right side of the page is filled with a cheerful Santa Claus, ready to be colored. He walks through the snow toward the viewer, waving hello with one mittened hand. He wears a tall, floppy hat with a fluffy pompom and a thick fur trim. He has round rosy cheeks, a big round nose, a curly mustache and a long, fluffy beard, and his mouth is open in a hearty laugh. His coat is trimmed with fur at the cuffs, down the front and along the hem, and a wide belt with a large square buckle wraps around his round belly. He wears tall boots.
Over his shoulder, Santa carries a big sack tied with a rope and overflowing with gifts: wrapped presents with bows, a teddy bear, a candy cane, round ornaments and a tiny Christmas tree. Small stars, snowflakes and dots twinkle in the air around him, and a wavy line beneath his boots marks the snowy ground.
